metallic sneakers
August 11, 2006sneakers have come a long way since i’ve been in grade school. gone are the red, white and blue combo. designers like jil sander and alexander mcqueen - to mention a few, have gone creating their own sneakers with an edge. they’ve gone metallic, they’ve gone velcro and it does not limit to laces any longer. no matter what though, sneakers are still the ultimate feet comfort when travelling, running, exercising or just plain strolling. i love that the plain old sneakers have been jazzed up a bit.

=) you forgot the adidas by stella mccartney sneaks. i have some for running, and it’s sad how running shoes should be replaced every few months. =(

i’m not too much of a sneakers gal so i like those black tod’s metallic ballerinas. they all look cute though!
SHOPDIARY : those tods are sort of a hybrid, a cross between a pair of sneakers and ballet flats. cute!

WWND : me too! i think they’ll be great with leggings - the adidas to go work-out and the tods for malling! LOL!

They have indeed, unfortunately my school is adamant that we stick with the old ones. Ours HAVE to be white with either white or beige soles. Like making us dress old-fashioned will make us smarter or something…

hey they had metallic sneakers at the BNY warehouse sale. i don’t know why i didn’t get any, now that i think of it. i was looking too hard for louboutins!
