crimson tide
July 21, 2006what i like about red is, it’s a color you can wear all-year round. it’s a season-proof color that for spring, it’s great paired with white and navy to channel the nautical look. for the party holiday rounds in fall/winter, a ruby-colored shift is a popular alternative to the more common little black dress. it’s a very strong color, that a minimal accessory load is acceptable. even a mere swipe of red-engine lipstick and scarlet-painted toenails can complete the whole look.

i vote for molly’s

i adore nicky hilton’s dress - the texture looks so rich and all… it would be perfect if it was knee-length. molly sim looks stunning in her red dress too. red is definitely a head-turning color heeheeeee

I love red! I’m not shy about using this color at all.

God, I love Molly’s dress!!! Hanging up in a shop I wouldn’t think much of it but when you see it on her you can tell it’d be super-flattering. Hides the fattest part of the leg as it’s just the right length, cinched-in waist…I could go on and on!

am not crazy about her shoes, though.

i didnt notice molly sim’s shoes the first time round. ew! why wearing beige shoes with red dress??? she was probably in a hurry or something… or was momentarily color blind, or something. ew!

I think the reason for wearing nude colored shoes is to elongate her legs, but then again, why would Molly need to do that? Her legs are looong enough! Love her dress though!
