britney’s bazaar bonanza

britney on bazaar

i just got my copy the other day. i should say i’m not so thrilled about it, to say the least. last month, it was lindsay. next month, which “role model” would it be? we have enough of their escapades every week via us weekly, star magazine, in touch and a whole other grocery rack of trash literature that we love to hate but still read religiously. seeing their faces in our fashion bibles just don’t seem to jive with this whole glam couture thing going on.

such a disappointment. i may just have to cut my subscription next year.

  1. Can I get an “amen” from the choir?

Seriously, girl, you know no one reading this disagrees with you one bit. What on Earth is this trash doing wearing couture? Lindsay in couture? Britney in couture? These are one-of-a-kind, often priceless garments. And they hang it on trash.

    Shiver.

I don’t know, Keira Knighley, even with her dirty feet (eww) - at least I think she deserves to wear the goodies. But some of the American trash? It’s almost unforgivable. I’d think about that subscription.

Right now I only have a Town & Country subscription (and a bunch of jewelry trades) and read the rest of the fashion mags at the salons and buy them if really want them from the bookstore based on content.

We hear you! We hear you!

  2. I’ve hated Britney since letting SeanP sit on her lap while driving. Before then, it was her prerogative to be trash, but when it comes to children and risking their lives by being a stupid example, her feet look even dirtier than they are.

  3. BTW, now when I see Britney in magazine spreads clothed in amazing couture, I can’t look at her as “beautiful” any longer because of the barefoot incidents, baby safety debacles, her KFed association, etc. I don’t see her as the same anymore. I cannot see through those. =/

  4. agree! agree! agree! they really need to reconsider their direction or else they are going to lose a lot of subscriptions next year! people who buy/wear couture seriuosly dont care about lindsay lohan/britney spears/nicole richie one bit. i thought the people in the industry would be smarter than this. so disappointed :(

  6. Can you say airbrushed? And why would they put her on the cover of a fashion magazine?!
